What’s Involved?
Rhinoplasty, or commonly known as a nose job, can improve the appearance and proportion of your nose. The procedure reshapes and resizes the nose, taking into account nose size in relation to the rest of your face, width of the nose bridge, humps or depressions, position of the nasal tip, size of the nostrils and addresses any asymmetry.
Your nose provokes character and personality while uniting the other features of your face, so the goal of rhinoplasty is to create a nose that it shaped to fit your face. Rhinoplasty is a science and art form that requires a skilled surgeon to achieve a look that is natural and not look surgically-created.
Surgical Options:
- Open
An incision is made outside the nose across the columella (the structure dividing the two nostrils) combined with internal incisions.
- Closed
All incisions are made inside the nose.
